Responsibilities

The machine operator performs a variety of functions related to the operation of an advanced manufacturing production line

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Complies with all safety rules and procedures

  • Performs Process duties

  • Performs startup and runs Lines

  • Participates in product and or process troubleshooting processes

  • Performs Forklift Team Member duties:

  • Loads material onto Press In-feed

  • Use of Various Computer Applications to determine correct material to be loaded on the line

  • Completes Daily Forklift Safety Checklist

  • Performs Inspection duties

  • Communicates quality issues to the press operator and recommends needed adjustments

  • Prepares and loads raw material

  • Packages finished product

  • Conducts Housekeeping responsibilities as required

  • Records material consumption and production in appropriate computer applications

Performs all other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Forklift experience or willingness to learn to operate forklift

  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience in a fast paced work environment

  • 1+ years of experience with automated machines

  • Basic computer skills adn uses of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word

  • Good mechanical aptitude/Machine operation knowledge

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Attention to detail
