6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (2-2-3 Shift)
Primary Objective:Provides mechanical and electrical support to ensure efficiency and quality in the production of the laminate planks.
Complies with all company safety rules and procedures.
Monitors and reacts in a timely manner to routine demand maintenance requirements.
Troubleshoots, repairs and makes all improvements to Press Lines to minimize downtime due to equipment stoppage involving Siemen’s S-7 PLCs, Lenze positioning and vector drives, hydraulic system, pneumatic system, and electrical system.
Participates in routine Preventative/Predictable Maintenance.
Troubleshoots equipment stoppages and reacts accordingly.
Utilizes various mechanical and electrical test equipment.
Assists with manufacturing during product change-over.
Plans, assists, documents, and implements process improvement techniques and devices.
Utilizes machining, electrical and mechanical trade skills to complete daily tasks.
Communicates with production and other various customers as needed.
Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
Associates Degree in Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electronics, or relatated program preferred
2+ years extensive experience in maintenance of a manufacturing environment
Basic experience with PLC’s, VFD’s and computers
Ability to work with automation, production, and computer systems
Exceptional attention to detail
Welding and Fabrication skills related to the modification of existing equipment, machinist experience preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend mechanical and electrical drawings/diagrams
Above average math skills
Good communication across all levels of the organization
Good organizational, communication and personal skills
Ability to work both independently and with a team
Experience with plumbing, pumps, bearings, pulleys, belts, chains, gearboxes, bushings, and the installation and maintenance of those devices
Understand basic high/low level voltage
Preventive maintenance on highly automated machinery (packaging machinery, handling equipment, etc.)
