We’re looking for a talented and energetic Human Resources Generalist for our Regional Distribution facility in Sunnyvale, TX. The HR Generalist plans, organizes, and assists with all phases of the Human Resources function for the facility.
Responds to employee and management inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
Functions as a resource for management and employees for disputes, discipline issues and policy resolution.
Creates headcount, overtime, and turnover reports. Coordinates temporary staffing as needed and Direct Hires as needed.
Recruits, screens and interviews applicants.
Maintains Employee Central Data for accuracy (in Success Factors)
Assists in the development of programs and opportunities that promote employee engagement.
Participates, updates, and continually develops new hire orientation and other on boarding activities.
Ensures legal compliance through diligent training; facilitates onsite training programs (i.e. sexual harassment, interviewing, team building, conflict resolution, and more) and ensures appropriate training documentation is maintained.
Initiates and leads employee activities and communications. (E-sign program)
Conducts payroll/ timekeeping actions weekly
Follows-Up on benefit administration for accuracy and consistency.
Audits and Keeps employee personnel files and records for suitable content and legal compliance.
Conducts exit interviews and produces absenteeism/turnover reports.
Performs other related duties as required.
Education and Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or related area required
Knowledge of HR laws and regulations required
1 - 3+ years of HR Generalist experience preferred.
Experience coaching and mentoring Supervisors preferred.
Experience working with time and attendance activities preferred.
Experience developing, coordinating and assisting with Employee Engagement activities.
Experience working in a Manufacturing or Distribution facility is preferred.
Strong interpersonal communication and training skills
Data analysis and interpretation
Good computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
Must be a self-starter and be able to work with a minimum of supervision.
