Responsibilities

Responsible for color matching samples of vinyl flooring that meet identified color targets and paper samples.

  • Ensure that all samples are produced in a way that is representative of the manufacturing process so they can be reproduced on a production scale.

  • Operate a single-color gravure proofing press, laboratory coater, oven and laminator.

  • Mix inks to match color targets using a spectrophotometer, formulation software and ink dispensing unit.

  • Provide ink formulas, press setup requirements to manufacturing for the production of new products.

  • Support manufacturing processes as needed.

  • Maintain a clean and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have a High-School or GED diploma

  • Previous printing or color matching helpful.

  • Must be able to follow directions and operate equipment unsupervised.

  • Must have superior color vision.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

  • Able to work independently in a fast paced work environment
