The Solutions Support Specialist will be responsible for graphic design, photo-realistic and conceptual rendering of various flooring materials in 2D or 3D format within set deadlines.The Solutions Support Specialist will also support the pricing clerk by following documented procedures and processing standards, and performing basic duties related to pricing administration. This role includes clerical work for the planning and estimating department by adding square yardage amounts.This position works with Hospitality Sales Representatives, National Accounts, Strategic Account Managers, RVP’s, Hospitality Pre-Order Support, Hospitality Design and other Hospitality areas to ensure that the end-user/client receives the proper support needed.

  • Quickly perform and/or resolve any rendering issues, ensuring all 2D and 3D requests are completed on schedule.

  • Prepares a variety of best-in-class graphic design and layout work, primarily for floorcovering (carpet, hardwood, ceramic, LVT).

  • Produce, export, archive or restore any requests needed for projects.

  • Ensure proper color and pattern placement based on floor plans and drawings.

  • Research price issues.

  • Review reports and conduct pricing audits to verify transactions/processing accuracy.

  • Enters new product pricing and makes any modifications to existing product pricing using established guidelines.

  • Verify customer information, price, style name and number then, add, delete, or modify price information.

  • Interfaces with sales force regarding pricing issues to determine what is required to process orders.

  • Ensures excellent customer service. Responds to sales force needs, under supervisor’s guidance, consistent with Company standards, culture, and business practices.

  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.


  • Must be proficient in Ned Graphics Texcelle. Adobe Photo Shop experience a plus.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 yrs. experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Hospitality Customer Service, Pre-Order Support or Critique experience preferred.

  • Extensive product knowledge in graphic design plus creative ideas for product development.

  • Proven ability to develop and create stylish renderings for the hospitality carpet industry.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer generated graphics programs.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of printing procedures.

  • Basic Computer Skills: in word-processing and spreadsheet applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AS400, Internet, and Electronic mail).

  • Three to six months clerical experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • High degree of skill and ability to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Strong analytical and planning skills; combined with the ability to coordinate the efforts of many to meet the organizational goal.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization.

  • Efficient and productive work habits with minimal supervision to work within established deadlines.

  • Demonstrates teamwork to ensure achievement of team, individual, and corporate sales goals.

  • Extremely detail oriented.

  • Independent decision maker.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization.

  • Excellent Voice Quality that is conversational and professional.

  • Ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions, policies, guidelines and processing standards.
