Responsibilities

  • Plan simulation creation steps and set up test in AS400.

  • Follow up with design department to schedule Simulated TPR evaluations.

  • Monitor and approve simulated product set up.

  • Set up management reviews of finished simulations as required.

  • Processing 2-D Perspective room scenes.

  • Keep accurate records and sample files.

  • Ensure appropriate disposition of all inks, patterns, and simulation materials.

  • Specify appropriate requests, and submit simulations for customer review.

  • Set up standards for new virtual yarn sku’s

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Four years job specific experience that includes the following:

  • Understanding of yarn, fiber and carpet processes.

  • Extensive experience in test/experiment design and experiment planning. Knowledge of construction specifications and test requirements.

  • Experience measuring product aesthetics and performance against benchmarks.

  • Technical understanding of production machinery.

  • An understanding of Mohawk plant systems and manufacturing processes a plus.

  • Advanced personal computer skills (AS400) and Excel, a working knowledge of Diver and Sequel a plus.
