The Director National Accounts - Multi-Family (West Coast) will be responsible for overall sales and margin growth in the builder channel. All communication regarding internal policies, national agreements, and corporate initiatives will be driven by the Director National Accounts - Builder within the respective regions to ensure national consistency in managing the business.

This Position will be responsible for specification, maintenance and relationship building. They are required to build relationships with these companies as well as key subcontractors across the country. This Position will make certain that National contracts are executed, compliant and understood throughout our entire BMF sales organization.

  1. Drive all product channels, i.e. carpet, pad, wood, ceramic, vinyl, LVT, etc. into the market

  2. Make presentations and sales calls.

  3. Develop/Maintain a close working relationship with the high level management, key purchasing and construction personnel for this group of customers and end users

  4. Implement strategy and direction within the regions in an effort to grow national sales and margin

  5. Implement corporate strategies by driving the information through the Regional Builder Managers

  6. Implement corporate polices and structure for consistency through out the country in Mohawk's sales channel commitments in the regions

  7. Conduct market research and analysis .

  8. Market, organize and participate in all industry wide trade show and end user events and conventions.

  9. Negotiate and execute national contracts

  10. Execute national agreements:

a. Communicate all national programs to the regions respectively

b. Work to standardize all agreements and rebate programs

c. Understand history and nuances of all national programs

d. Administer execute all parameters of agreements including rebates

e. Assist regional personnel in their selling efforts

  1. Develop and maintain accurate forecasting for soft and hard surface


  • High school diploma required. College degree preferred.

  • Working knowledge of Multi-Family operations.

  • Five years of progressively responsible job specific work experience in an environment of comparable size and diversity. Or, an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job.

  • Must be able to travel as needed.
