This leadership position is responsible for sales and profitability of Distributor Sales, including strategic planning and product lines. Also responsible for developing the Sales operating policies and procedures, approving pricing strategies, developing strategic sales initiatives and the oversight of the deployment of sales staff and resources.
Manage directly and indirectly the sales staff for the Distributor Sales organization.
Responsible for the long-and short-term strategy and operation performance of Distributor sales organization.
Work with marketing and product development to develop brands.
Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of price levels; approve all pricing recommendations below corporate for the Distributor Sales organization
Make recommendations and coordinate the development of a corporate image and corporate communication activities as well as recommendations on product develop and the pricing as applicable to the overall marketing strategies.
Maintains current knowledge of industry trends and maintains active documentation on calling activity
Oversees marketing and promotional responsibilities, and sales functions and measures customer satisfaction.

Education & Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required skills and knowledge to perform the essential function of the job.
6+years of progressively responsible job specific experience that includes:
Experience in a sales environment, working directly in support of a diverse sales force or sales service role
Minimum of 3 years supervisor/leadership experience role in an environment of comparable size and diversity.
Proficient using a PC and other department specific databases and/or systems
Knowledge of Mohawk’s organizational and functional operating structure, products, administrative procedures and policies.
Basic knowledge and understanding of HR policies, practices and procedures as it relates to employee relations, hiring, terminations, benefit and compensation plans and administrative guidelines.
Knowledge of budgeting and expense control to plan, implement and control expenditure while maintaining and improving quality standards
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with Senior Management and internal customers.
Ability to produce an effect without apparent force or direct authority. Develop a connection both internal and external, which builds in degrees, cultivating trust/mutual respect.
Ability and willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions; ability to persuade, market and sell new ideas; ability to work in a high-pressure environment and exercise good judgment to resolve problems in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
