Manage the systems functionality and development for all HCM systems (SAP SuccessFactors, Kronos, iCIMS, Tracker I-9, etc.) to improve the user experience and efficiency of the systems.
Develop policies and procedures to ensure consistency enterprise wide.
Research and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to ensure continual improvements in efficiency.
Research new functionality options to determine if appropriate for company adoption. Prepare recommendation for upper management.
Implement new functionality as determined by upper management.
Manage implementation of new functionality by partnering with IS department.
Partner with the Training and Communications department to develop required training materials and communications to ensure user understanding and acceptance of new functionality.
Provide technical support as required to assist IS Help Desk and HR Live in resolving issues.
Collaborate with developers, quality assurance, production support and account teams to provide technical direction on systems design, development, and deployment.
Manage User Acceptance testing and System testing during implementation.
Participate in technical advisory roles as required.
Interact with customers at the technical level as required.
Manage and coordinate the change management process to ensure user acceptance.
Integration of Acquisitions:
Partner with key business owners to ensure smooth transition into Mohawk systems
Manage system testing and User Acceptance Testing
Develop and deliver training materials
Manage and coordinate change management process to ensure user acceptance and understanding and to promote employee and manager self-service
Strategy Planning and Analytics
Active member of the HCM Steering Committee to align HR and IS strategies with Corporate business unit priorities for Workday CoE, Payroll, MDM, and IS.
Develop and implement appropriate analytics in all systems supported to promote business strategies as defined by the company on an annual basis.
Analysis of SAP SuccessFactors data to determine percentage of usage of systems and report to HCM Steering Committee and business owners.
Bachelor’s degree and five (5) year Human Resources experience, or, any appropriate combination of education and experience.
Strong understanding of HR processes and data
Experience with HCM systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Applicant Tracking software, etc.
Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communications skills; ability to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers, and senior management, and ability to communicate with others in antagonistic situations using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict and maintain professionalism in accordance with corporate standards
Ability to present and explain technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding
Ability and willingness to accept responsibility, willingness to challenge established practices and draw relevant conclusions, including the persistence and willingness to take calculated risk, to challenge, market and sell new ideas within the organization.
Excellent human resource management skills to effectively lead and direct a diverse work group; to achieve results through team efforts, and the desire and ability to motivate, persuade and direct the activities of others.
Ability to act as a managerial advisor on professional and technical issues with a view towards reaching strategic decisions; ability to manage conflicting demands for resources through negotiation.
Organizational ability to redirect skills to support new technologies while maintaining current commitments; ability to perform in a high pressure environment and/or crisis situation and render good decisions to resolve the problems, maintain safety and ensure adherence to Corporate Code of Conduct.
Consistently proven ability to manage/implement projects and contribute to concept development
