Mohawk Industries Employee Relations Project & Data Analyst in CALHOUN, Georgia
This position will work with the Employee Relations team to ensure project materials and data information outcomes are administered and executed. This role will provide analytical details, diverse administrative and customer service support to Employee Relations team and collective support to the Global HR Bus. Performing duties with limited latitude for decision-making and judgement within the framework of the job’s primary duties and responsibilities.
Create documents and templates in Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Conduct surveys, research studies, presentations and statistical reports using appropriate software applications. Maintain and update profiles on Organizational Biometrics, Organizational Dashboards & Heatmaps.
Use reliable data collection methods to analyze HR operational and performance results. Measure the impact of human resources initiatives on the achievement of business goals and prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and other ad hoc reports for management review. Provide quarterly reports on findings from progress and exit interviews and make recommendations for change.
Organize, maintain and evaluate all ER project deliverables for content and quality. Drive follow through to action items.
Analyze current and historical data related to turnover, employee mobility, and other data factors connected to Organization Effectiveness data and action plans. Run and analyze reports related to HCM.
Participates in efforts to identify areas of potential process or data improvements and reports them to Sr. ER Program Manager
Contribute to the continues improvement approach of the health of the organization by monitoring KPI’s such as absenteeism, disciplinary action data, Organizational Effectiveness audit and survey results, etc.
Develop knowledge of Global business units to effectively coordinate Employee Relations initiatives while fostering and maintaining strong partnerships with all internal customers.
Identify and implement positive employee relations programs in consultation with the Sr. ER Program Manager.
Provide employee relations support in matters involving conflict resolution, seeking direction and advice from Sr. HR Director on more complex and controversial issues. Coordinate disciplinary actions and performance improvement initiatives and review for consistency and equitable treatment of employees. Inform HR management of discrepancies and potential employee dissent and morale deflation.
Participate in ER process improvement initiatives to include tools used, methodology, and the follow up to action items.
Develop expertise in OE Audit process to enhance skill in becoming Lead Auditor for upcoming OE Audits.
Assist in the launch and analysis of Employee Engagement Surveys.
Take on any additional job-related projects and duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field and 2-3 years of increasingly responsible experience in Human Resources administration.
Knowledge of the laws, regulations, policies, procedures and practical application governing the functions of Human Resources.
Knowledge of the company’s policies, organization and job structure, recruitment processes and regulatory reporting requirements required
Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Lotus Notes and the Internet.
Strong math and analytical skills to perform math calculations, interpret, adapt, known methods, system procedures or operating concepts to new situations
Excellent verbal and written communications, interpersonal, and presentation skills to effectively interact with Mohawk’s management personnel, internal population, and external business contacts
Self-driven and motivated, with attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrates initiative with a clear business purpose in mind
Ability to communicate with others in an antagonistic situation using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to reduce tension or conflict and maintain professionalism in accordance with corporate standards
