Responsibilities

Work with a company’s EDI program maintaining smooth communications for production using EDI tools and ensuring smooth transitions when changes or maintenance are required.

To alleviate day to day issues, questions and research the EDI programmers encounter.

To be the first line of contact for EDI issues

Assist EDI team with on boarding of new B2B and EDI trading partners

  • Correct/reprocess and resend EDI transactions as necessary.

  • Initiate 832 B2B catalogs for B2B trading partners.

  • Focal point for all Etickets, customer EDI inquires, and phone calls.

  • Setup B2B trading partners and work with B2B software vendors to on board B2B trading partners.

  • Assist EDI team with testing and on boarding of traditional EDI trading partners.

  • Review daily processing and transmissions.

Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems.

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a EDI or B2B EDI environment.

  • Ability to analyze and understand EDI data.

  • Experience using SQL or similar query tool for performing detailed data analysis helpful but not required.

  • Knowledge of data quality concepts and master data management concepts helpful.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with technical teams as well as business customers.

  • Comfortable working with a team that is geographically dispersed and includes contractors, consultants, and some off-shore resources.

  • Ability to quickly identify and analyze risks and impacts, define alternatives, determine prioritization, and to remove roadblocks. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with the team and internal customers.

  • Highly motivated self-starter.

  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and global work group and to achieve results through global team efforts.
