To provide customer support and communication for customers, Marketing, Sales professional services, and Administration. Under directed supervision, follows documents, procedures, processing standards, and performs duties related to basic Account Maintenance.
Provide assistance to Customer Service Representatives in the day to day activities related to Account Maintenance.
Provide direction and resolution of complex customer inquiries and non-routine matters; including but not limited to escalated calls from Customer Service Representatives.
Process customer inquiry calls pertaining to Purchase Order status, provide availability and in-depth knowledge on products, pricing on applicable accounts, and expedite shipment requests.
Compose and/or edit internal and external correspondence, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and charts/graphs.
Maintain and establish appropriate confidentiality with sensitive material and information.
Examine records and ascertain relevance of billing correspondence, pricing on orders/commissions, group rebates, and related information.
Collaborates with other functional areas, including Sales, Credit, and Shipping to obtain facts regarding account maintenance.
Establish and maintain positive business relationships, internally and externally, to promote Company goals.
Demonstrate teamwork toward achievement of department and Company goals.
Assist with departmental reporting, tracking and special projects as assigned.
Other duties as required.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years customer service related experience, with minimum of 1-year internal experience preferred.
Computer Skills: MS Office applications and Email correspondence required. Internal systems including AS400, preferred.
Knowledge of Company brands and product information required to perform the essential functions of the job.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization required. Good Voice Quality that is conversational and professional.
Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions, policies, guidelines and processing standards.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Must be an effective team member that considers the group, as well as individual needs when making decisions.
Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively; seeks assistance from others as needed.
Desire to grow and stay up-to-date with changes in the market and product development.
