Leads warehouse associates involved in any of the following: shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, picking and packing and ensures function is operating efficiently.

Primary Objective: Provides effective customer service for all internal and external customers by addressing customer issues in a timely manner and providing resolution.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Inbound and Outbound Scheduling.

  • HomeDepot

  • Lowe’s

  • Floor & Decor

  • Menards

  • SSC (Sales Service Center)

  • Manage high phone and email correspondences.

  • Carriers (Ex: JB Hunt, Hub, Swift)

  • Drivers

  • Customers

  • Customer Service (Corporate)

  • Officers at Jrayl (Drop Lot)

  • Work one on one with carriers to assure 100% satisfaction.

  • Work on Schedule

  • Driver delays

  • Detention hours

  • Communicate with management of operation to assist customers.

  • Able to provide reports

  • Daily truck count

  • Any delays in carrier/ issues

  • Provided proper documentation to customers.

  • Copy of proof of Delivery

  • Copy of Bill of Lading

  • Responsible for maintaining training SOP’s for backups up to date.

  • Only if changes occur

  • Responsible for maintaining paperwork filed.

  • Daily filing

  • BOL (Bill of Lading)

  • SPC (Small Package)

  • LTL (less than truck load)

  • Receiving

  • Responsible for handling personal and confidential information.

  • Expense Reports

  • Online purchasing

  • Errands paid with company business card

  • Handle purchasing for specific vendors.

  • Order weekly lumber

  • Grainger -Maintenance team

  • Staples -Office Supplies

  • Pollock- Warehouse Supplies (Ex: Boxes, Chemicals)

  • Hand expense reports for upper management.

  • Gather receipts

  • Enter data to match expenses

  • Monthly reports done on Concur solution

Qualifications:

Education and Knowledge:

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience:

0 -1 year previous customer service experience.

Competencies:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Good listening skills. Ability to read and write in English. Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities. Must be a team player. Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Knowledgeable SAP and WMS – Red Prairie. Able to created spreadsheets for reports. Sign in sheets for meetings.
