Responsibilities:

The operator loads and positions yarn on production machinery in the winding area.

Performs any combination or all of the following duties:

Stages buggies of single yarns at the winders.

Places bobbins of single yarns in magazines.

Threads and repairs breakouts in the winder mechanism.

Operates the backwinder to reprocess single yarns from twisting.

Maintains the pneumafil tanks.

Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

No prior experience required.

Reads and writes in standard English and proficient performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.

Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.

May be required to use PC and other department specific database systems.

Ability to communicate in standard English to understand and follow verbal or written instructions and to keep simple records and make reports.

Ability to work well with people.

Ability to maintain an acceptable level of attendance in accordance with company and department guidelines.
