Responsibilities:

  • Must have knowledge of an Eight ( 8 ) color automatic printer with flash unit

  • Follow schedule for printing order

  • Pull set up mat from library

  • Pull correct screens from library

  • Instruct employee to pull inks

  • Make sure all squeegees and flood bars are free of nicks

  • Set up screens and verify registration and ink colors to standard

  • Verify labels and label placement

  • After run is complete check schedule to see if screens are put back in the library or to pull tape, direct employees to card out inks, clean screens and put inks back in the ink storage area by numerical order.

  • Printer operator is the director of the machine. Make sure all employees are working toward a joint effort to run the machine efficiently and productive.

  • Watch machine closely for off quality, doffer problems, trouble shooting on the machinery and ink problems

Qualifications:

  • Communicate effectively with employees is a must

  • Prioritize and mange time efficiently

  • Responsible for preventative maintenance

  • Be an effective team member

  • Expected to follow all safety regulations and wear all required PPE

  • Expected to meet the production, quality, and safety goals set by management

  • Expected to maintain all housekeeping items and follow all housekeeping procedures associated with the position

  • Any jobs or duties as assigned by Department Manager or Crew Leader
