Roles and Responsibilities:
The Process Control Technician is responsible for the following:
Performing visual inspection of finished products to identify conditional or mechanical issues with the equipment. If issues are found, notify the appropriate resource or make appropriate adjustments to ensure a correct is made.
Performing line readings and equipment walk downs to ensure extrusion parameters on maintained.
Assist Shift Manager in troubleshooting positional and line issues.
Reviewing and adjusting line parameters to maintain quality and waste standards. Once completed the Process control Technician will report out all changes and reasons for the changes on a shift basis.
Communicate positional and line performance issues to the Sr. Process Control Technician.
Updating run specs through either AS400, Excel Spec Sheets, or working with the Process Engineer to correct issues.
Working with Quality Process Engineering Manager and Engineer concerning the following…..
Troubleshooting line problems and positional issues.
Aiding Sr. Process Control Technician in Special Tests and troubleshooting problems.
Aiding in product transitions concerning, but not limited to, Finish Oil, Jets, Polymer, Packs, and Line Start-up and Shut Downs
High school diploma or GED preferred
Read and write in standard English
Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training
Ability to maintain an acceptable level of attendance in accordance with company and department guidelines
